After being reinstated into the CCC athletics program two years ago, the wrestling team has gotten more members and improved facilities. Team members say they are excited about the TCNJ tournament, which will take place Nov. 21 in Ewing Township.

CCC wrestler Ian Lynch said he is ready to start the season, noting his “expectations for this upcoming season is to get a couple of wins.”

The wrestlers said they have been practicing several days a week for several hours a day to prepare for the tournament and the rest of their season and to be the best at what they do. They said their preparation includes drills and heart respirations.

The TNCJ Quad Match will begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at The College of New Jersey, 2000 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. Tickets are $5 for general admission for ages 19 to 64 and $3 for ages 9 to 18 and ages 65 and older. Admission is free for TCNJ students, faculty and staff with an I.D. card and for children up to age 8. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
