The Jones family has always had a love and strong passion for the art of dance and performance. Miss. Andrea Jones the director and owner had a dream of one day owning a dance center. In 2010, their vision became reality with, the grand opening of Adagio Dance Center in Stratford, New Jersey. At first the studio started out small but over the past few years, it has grown in many ways. The studio grew from starting out with 23 students in its first year of service and now they are in their fourth year, with over 100 students. Students come from all over the area and transfer from other dance centers because Adagio has such warm and passionate instructors and staff. Miss Jones is assisted by her daughter Joselyn and son Seth. Both young instructors have trained in many styles of dance over their childhood and adolescent years. Seth in particular even spent time training at the prestigious University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
The studio not only teaches every style of dance but is also very involved with philanthropy work in the community. They have been involved with many charities over the year, while the studio has been open. A few of the many organizations that they have been involved with include Hugs of Love, Angel of Hope Gift, the Samuel Yellin School Athletic Program and so many others. In the short amount of time this studio has been opened, it has not only accomplished bringing the love and passion of dance into the lives of individuals, young and old, but it has succeeded in leaving positive effects on the community

The studio lives by their mission statement and students, staff and parents must all stand for this. Miss. Jones stated, “We are not in the “business” of dance. We are dance educators, who live for what we do! Our students’ joy is our passion!”
