The Camden County College Theater Program STAGES has been inexistence since 2004 and helps area artist get exposure to the community and media.It is under the direction of Artistic Director Marjorie Sokoloff, the co-founder of Philadelphia Children’s Theater.

Sokoloff has directed professionally across the country, including work for Florida Repertory Theater, Hartford Children’s Theater is credited for helping the program to create 30 productions, play to more than 10,000 audience members.

STAGES has put on numerous production, such as The School of Wives, Stuart Little, The Crucible, Snow White and Pride and Prejudice.

In order to get into STAGES, current students must have a 2.5 or higher GPA with a good background in the performing arts, which helps the director to place them in the role that is best fit for them.

By them having training and rehearsing, they gain better experience in their field. In its 2012-2013 season Stages putting on the production Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti.

“Auditions and rehearsals are going pretty well and that I am excited about future productions this season with different artist and my students.”, Sokoloff said
